The prophecies about the Messiah fall into two sections.
First he is described as a 'man of sorrows' who goes about doing good and ultimately is crucified for the sake of mankind. That is the suffering servant side of the Messiah.
Secondly, he is also described as a reigning King. That points forward to a time when Jesus will return to earth.
After Jesus died on the cross, he rose from the dead three days later. After forty days he went up into heaven in front of the disciples. The disciples were then told that just as Jesus had ascended into heaven, he would one day come back to reign on earth as the supreme King. The Bible describes a number of events that will happen before Jesus returns to earth (see Last Days Events.)
However, there are many prophecies describing his reign as a King that point to that time. One reason that many Jewish people have rejected Jesus as the Messiah was because he has not yet fulfilled the second half of the prophecies. They were expecting an immediate Jewish King who would defeat their enemies. They didn't realise that the first time he would come as a servant, the second time as a ruling King.
So what are those prophecies?
